So that is how we begin. Thirty minutes, at no charge, by appointment from Riverside Avenue — we listen to the story you tell best, then tell you plainly whether the shows your buyers hear would want it.
The run-of-show
Every recording we book runs to a rundown, timed to the minute. Reaching us runs to one too — choose the line that matches what you already have in hand.
Cue01
When you would rather talk it through than write it down — a quick sense of fit before you give an afternoon to a deck.
If the line is engaged, we are likely with a host. Leave a name and a number; we ring back.
ring the deskCue02
When there is something to attach: a positioning deck, a past appearance, the three shows you would most like to be heard on.
Read in full and answered within two working days.
compose a letterCue03
When you are still weighing which campaign suits. A handful of fields; only the last asks for any real thought.
Answered within two working days, with a time for the first call.
write the noteCue04
When the conversation deserves a table between us. Meetings at the desk are arranged the way calls are — ahead of time.
By appointment — book a call.

Hosts decide in the first sentence of a pitch. We read notes the same way — give us these three lines and we can see the shape of your campaign before we have spoken.
A job title, not a market size. “Heads of compliance at regional insurers” tells us far more than “enterprise.”
The one that makes a room lean in. Rough is welcome — we shape it into three talking points later.
One programme you listen to on your own time. It tells us the register you will be most at ease in.
Tell us who you are and who you would like to be heard by. We reply within two working days — or write directly to contact@kettlequill.com.
Once you’ve written
No deck, and no pitch from our side. A conversation with a clock on it, so neither of us gives away the afternoon.
Who your buyers are, what you have tried, and what you would count as a good year.
Three or four programmes, by name, that we think would want you — and the reason each would say yes.
Where your story is thin, which hosts would pass, and whether a campaign is worth your fee at all.
If it is a yes, a written proposal within two working days. If not, a few shows worth pitching yourself.
